I have written repeatedly of the keen interest that the American government and the corporations who sponsor our politicians have in silencing scientific facts and opinion on climate change. For one obvious reason: it will be enormously costly to implement the immediate changes so desperately needed to reduce the amount of pollution our current way of life is pumping into the Earth’s atmosphere.
