Media Bias?

hurricane rita oil spill
I think it may have more to do with what sells soap and beer than any political bias.

Okay, Hurricane Rita was a Category 3 hurricane when it hit the Texas and Louisiana border, yet the Corporate News Channels had non-stop coverage. To put this in perspective; Last year Hurricane Charley hit Florida at a Strong Category 4 storm, but the coverage was not as extensive as Rita’s.

Have you ever even been in a Hurricane? Well I have been through enough of them to know that Rita is not as spectacular than the others. Katrina on the other hand is a monster.
