Hurricane Relief

It's hard to understand what Hurricane Katrina has done to its victims.

I cannot imagine the hurt that the thousands (millions?) of people who’ve been directly impacted by hurricane Katrina are going through. Loss of home, loss of life, loss of everything that we humans cherish & hold on to… Everything that defines life for us, in a tangible sense, has been completely destroyed for them. I lost power for three and a half days after the remnants of hurricane Isabel poured through Virginia — nothing compared with the damage left in the wake of Katrina.
