Heavy Rain

hurricane ophelia flood
Sounds like Hurricane Ophelia was easier on New England than the Carolinas.

We are spending tonight on the very end of the Cape Cod peninsula, Massachussets, in a very pretty town called Provincetown. We hope to get some photos tomorrow morning. We came through here in some very heavy rain today, apparently the tail end of hurricane Ophelia. Crazy thing was as we drove along the freeway earlier in the day was seeing all the cars and trucks that were parked on the side of the road because of the heavy rain. We couldn't quite work out what was happening to start with as the rain was no heavier than we get in most of the storms at home. However once the rain eased up a bit the traffic rejoined the road.
