Hurricane Season Is Here
Today is the official beginning of hurricane season. As usual, an active season is predicted. Hopefully, Louisiana is better prepared this time. Greater New Orleans actually had an evacuation plan in place last year when Hurricane Ivan was bearing down on her. I wouldn�t say the plan was inadequate but its execution surely was. We're talking major traffic jams in every outbound direction but particularly the westbound I-10 towards Baton Rouge.
