Hurricane!

Nice article on how things are going 6 months after Hurricane Charley.

For some time after Charley hit I would break out in tears. I went thru feelings of guilt that our home survived major damage. I knew people who lost everything in the hurricanes this summer. I knew a woman with children who were living in a tent next to where their apartment used to stand until FEMA brought in some trailers. I kept asking, "why them"? and "Why was our home spared and theirs was not"? It took me some time to understand that it is just the luck of the draw when it comes to mother nature.
